We are looking for an experienced Senior Strategic Finance Analyst to join our energy management company. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to senior management, with a focus on driving business growth and profitability. The Finance Analyst will synthesize complex financial and operational information, analyze trends, and prepare reports and presentations in support of our financial planning and reporting efforts. You will be working closely with business partners across the organization to develop financial models, forecasts, and reports that will help inform strategic decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Financial Modeling and Analysis
- Maintain the company financial model, including scenario analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, comprehensive reporting packages for the Board, lenders and internal management, including insightful analytical reviews and graphical representations.
- Perform various analytical functions, such as analyzing whitespace and evaluating the introduction of new programs, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Create and maintain relevant metrics to measure the performance of regions and product lines, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with regional and operational managers, conducting result reviews, ongoing projections, and forecasts, and identifying areas for improvement to drive business decisions.
2. Business Operations and Strategy
- Assist in special strategy projects that require data analysis, market research, and executive communication.
- Identify growth opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA helpful but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- FP&A / Financial Modeling Experience: Strong experience in financial modeling at an operating company, and/or Investment Banking.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent executive presence, communication, and presentation abilities.
