Strategic Finance Analyst/Senior Analyst

Responsibilities

• Work with company leadership to build scenario analysis tools to explore, refine, and explain potential business model innovations for platform companies
• Partner with the strategy team to create strategically useful presentations for members of FL96's leadership team
• Directly interface with related companies in the Flagship ecosystem to explore potential joint opportunities, including how those opportunities might be structured and valued
• Partner with Flagship Finance to ensure:
  • alignment across resource requirements, future view of value, and current business strategy and development opportunities
  • financial reporting is tailored to address the highest priority challenges and help to inform the answers to the most important questions

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of investment banking or private equity experience
• Experience playing a leading role on projects, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
• Ability to represent company interests, including C-suite level presentations, to relevant stakeholders
• Strong self-starter and independent thinker with impeccable attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying financial and strategic concepts in a clear and thorough manner
• Eager to work with highly skilled and dynamic teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience interfacing with FP&A functions to produce decision-useful information for company leadership
• Ability to work with outputs from enterprise-grade information systems (ERP, LIMS, CRM, etc.)
• CFA, CPA, or other finance certifications or demonstrable progress toward their completion
