About the Role                                                                                            

We are seeking a dynamic Lead Strategic Finance Analyst to spearhead our Accounts Receivable processes. The ideal candidate, a strategic thinker and should demonstrate strong leadership skills. Possessing profound insights into financial processes, the candidate will actively contribute to business process transformation, vendor management, policy drafting, and play a pivotal role in restructuring exercises. Responsibilities include driving process improvements, overseeing changes, and ensuring the successful execution of initiatives within the accounts receivable function.                                                                                                 

What the Candidate Will Do    

  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing financial processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement in alignment with business process transformation goals.
  • Develop and implement streamlined processes, ensuring increased efficiency and accuracy while actively participating in the restructuring process during our separation from the parent company UTI systems and environment.
  • Drive the optimization of financial workflows and procedures to achieve operational excellence, with a particular focus on vendor management and policy drafting.
  • Lead and oversee the implementation of new projects and process improvements within the accounts receivable function, aligning them with the broader organizational restructuring initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of new initiatives, actively participating in business restructuring exercises.
  • Effectively manage change by communicating goals, expectations, and benefits related to restructuring and transformation efforts.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to examine large data sets, identifying patterns and trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Identify root causes of issues within accounts receivable processes and develop effective solutions, contributing to the overall business transformation.
  • Proactively address challenges and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and business process transformation.
  • Navigate complex situations and build strong relationships with peers, leaders, and stakeholders across the organization during the separation from UTI systems.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders to align on restructuring goals and drive collaborative solutions.
  • Create PowerPoint Slides and present on a Senior Leadership, Customer, or Carrier Level.                                                                                           
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment within accounts receivable that promotes team cohesion and growth within the transformed and restructured environment.

Basic Qualifications                                                                              

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 years of related experience (Analytics and/or Process Improvement)
  • Project leadership

Preferred Qualifications                                                                                              

  • Finance experience
  • Transportation/Logistics industry experience
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications 
  • Experience with ERP, Oracle, Tableau and Visio
  • Lean Six Sigma or related certification
