Senior Solution Engineer-Austin, TX or Boulder, CO (Hybrid)
Yonomi is an Allegion brand focused on enterprise level Internet of Things solutions. We are looking for a Solution Engineer to join our team. This position will be a member of the Customer Success Organization and will be customer facing. The Solution Engineer will be responsible for technical account management of our customers. Our customers are B2B customers who are developing solutions using our API platform. You will become an expert in usage of our own APIs and SDKs, helping guide our customers in development and solution best practices. In addition, this position will triage customer issues, identify the problem, and design the best technical solution for solving them.
Yonomi is one of Allegion's 30+ brands that is developing a powerful enterprise class IoT cloud platform.

What You Will Do:
- Become a technical subject matter expert in the Allegion Mobile Credential Products
- Onboard and train customers and potential customers in how to use our APIs & SDKs
- Triage and identify root cause of customer submitted issues
- Understand customer implementations and recommend solutions where appropriate
- Lead and facilitate customer meetings
- Engage appropriate experts for customer discussions / escalations
- Work closely with product and engineering to define fixes and timelines
- Be the voice of the customer to internal teams
- Assist in documenting troubleshooting steps, FAQs, and best practices
- Build a technical knowledge base for improving triage methods and speeds
- Support production of content to assist sales, marketing, and customers including blog posts, training videos, and documentation
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years related work experience or 9+ years of related work experience in lieu of degree required
- REST-based API development and usage
- Experience with mobile app development a plus
- Experience with customer relationship management
- Hard worker who is self-motivated
- Hungry and eager to learn new technologies
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Works well with remote teams
- Provide leadership to mentor junior Solution Engineers
- Willingness to dive into any issue in order to diagnose a problem
- Strong sense of ownership and guiding issues to resolution
- Awareness of time sensitive issues and sense of urgency to resolve
- Customer-first attitude with the ability to think like a customer
- Ability to communicate with multiple teams and organize work appropriately

- Mobile App Development (Android or iOS) a plus
