Senior Electrical Engineer

In the role of a Senior Electrical Engineer with 10-20 years of experience, your responsibilities extend to overseeing the design, analysis, and manufacture of electrical systems for both new and existing products. A crucial aspect of your role involves assistance in the reverse engineering of old / obsolete circuit cards, researching and recommending changes to product designs, emphasizing safety improvements or cost reductions. Collaboration with electrical suppliers, purchasing agents, product designers, and fellow engineers on new products is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, analysis, and manufacture of electrical systems for new and existing products.
• Research and recommend changes to product designs to enhance safety or reduce manufacturing costs.
• Collaborate with electrical suppliers, purchasing agents, product designers, and other engineers on new product development.
• Conduct safety reviews and investigations related to accidents involving electrical systems.

Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of electronic circuits, high voltage systems, AC/DC power supplies, and low voltage systems.
• Expertise in reverse engineering and modernization of designs
• Expertise in design, analysis, and manufacture of electrical systems.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10-20 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Must be a US Citizen

Government Security Clearance:

This position requires a minimum of a secret security clearance from the government. If you are selected and do not already have a clearance, you will receive a background check to make sure you meet the requirements to access secret information.
