UW Credit Union’s Internet Services development team is hiring a Senior Software Engineer with an interest in full stack web development! In this role, you play a key part in delivering a diverse portfolio of technical solutions on the Microsoft development stack, including high-performance web applications, mobile apps, APIs, and backend processes that enable members to easily manage their financial lives. This is a hybrid position requiring two days per week onsite.

- Analyze, design, and build software solutions that provide a world-class digital experience to our members and the organization.
- Serve as a technical lead building and maintaining high quality software using a variety of technologies.
- Code software solutions that satisfy identified requirements.
- Write unit and integration tests to exercise code changes.
- Integrate vendor software systems into our own solutions.
- Design and enhance databases to support our software solutions.
- Provide diagnosis, triage and troubleshooting of production issues, both proactively and in response to support requests.
- Ensure a high level of systems reliability, scalability, and maintainability to ensure long term success of our solutions.
- Engage with cross-functional and Agile team members to continuously and consistently deliver software solutions, address field support requests, and support software releases.
- Partner with business units to provide software solutions to solve complex problems and achieve business goals.
- Research potential solutions to business needs through research and focused proof of concepts.
- Contribute to, participate in, and champion an iterative Agile development culture.
Required:
- 4+ years’ Software Engineering experience.
- Familiarity with different web development technologies.
- Fluency and in-depth knowledge in Microsoft development environment, including but not limited to C#, .NET MVC, SQL Server, Azure, TypeScript and JavaScript
- Experience in mobile app development for various platforms
- Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns and best practices
Preferred:
- Knowledge in microservice architecture
- Experience working in agile teams & scrum methodology
