Position Overview:
We are seeking a Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in our client's transformative project. This initiative involves the integration of 3 systems into a unified platform. By transitioning from a monolithic structure to a microservices architecture, this endeavor marks a significant leap into modern web development practices. The chosen engineer will have the chance to work on the front end using React, engage in microservice API architecture, and migrate to .NET 6. The project's future state includes using Docker. Kubernetes, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a team of 5+ developers, alongside UX and other cross-functional members.
Contribute to the re-platforming effort, migrating from monolithic to microservices architecture.
Develop front-end applications using React and leverage modern JavaScript frameworks.
Participate in the transition to .NET 6 and explore future advancements such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Create cloud-hosted applications, utilizing your experience in cloud computing.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Strong proficiency in .NET Framework or .NET Core.
Proficiency in C#.
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React.
Solid background in SQL and HTML 5.
Cloud computing skills, including designing applications hosted on cloud services (Azure)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic, collaborative environment.
