Blue White Robotics is a world leader in autonomous technologies and unmanned systems in agriculture. We are seeking a quick learner, self-driven Robotics Field Technician to join our team of unmanned systems experts in a fast-growing company with significant impact and potential for professional and personal growth. Pay scale for this position is $28 - $31 per hour.
This position is based in the Bakersfield , CA area and involves physical work.
Responsibilities:
· Performs service, preventive maintenance, and repairs on the fleet of autonomous tractors in California according to safety and quality procedures.
· Troubleshoot system installations, identify issues and apply the most effective and efficient resolution consistent with the company standards.
· Completes work orders, written documents, and policies according to established procedures.
· Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings and diagnostic tools.
· Build the infrastructure to scale technical support of autonomous tractors.
· Create training certification and knowledge sharing across the technician's US team.
· Meet technical goals and metrics on a weekly\monthly\quarterly basis.
· Work night/day shifts according to the client’s changing schedule and needs.
· Flexibility in hours and ability to work as a remote team with the R&D team.
· Create technical literature for the fleet of autonomous tractors.
· Apply all necessary documentation for tracking of service-related issues.

· 5+ years of field experience.
· Knowledge of intermediate principles of software
· Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills mechanical and electronics aptitude.
· Able to take the initiative and drive change, and handle pressure.
· Capacity and passion for helping customers.
· Must be authorized to work in the US.
· Must have a valid driver's license.
· Flexible in day/night shifts according to the client’s changing schedule and needs.
· Ability to work weekends.
· Good communication skills for effective interaction with internal & external customers.
· Available for scheduled “on-call" duties to respond to emergency service calls.
· Be able to work independently or as a member of a team.
