Job Description:

The candidate must be experienced in design, analysis, simulations, development and Testing of RF circuits and STE. The RF Subsystem design engineer should be familiar with link budget, S-parameters for RF Design. Other activities may include developing solutions to test issues, developing productivity and efficiency enhancements, updating design documentation, working with suppliers to resolve component issues, and evaluating design changes.

Required Skills:

Minimum of 7 years of related RF subsystem hardware design engineering and Testing experience.

Hands on experience in design, analysis, development, bread‐boarding, troubleshooting and Testing of RF circuits as well as ability to isolate failures to root cause.

Familiarity with link budget, S-Parameter, Noise Figure

Experience in the design of satellite payloads

Experience with EE lab equipment such as multimeters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers (PXAs), and performance network analyzer (PNAs).

Selection and specification of components for RF circuits, including amplifiers, HPA, LNA, mixers, band pass filters, high speed A/D and D/A converters.

Familiarity with directional couplers, circulators, and other waveguide components.

Contribute to all phases of development life cycle (requirements definition, systems and circuit design, integration of RF and wireless circuits and systems and Testing).

Experience modeling, designing, and Testing RF subsystems, preferably for satellite payloads.

Ability to work in a team environment

Experience designing, manufacturing, and Testing space flight hardware.

U.S. Citizenship / Green Card Holder

Prior experience in Defense or Aerospace

Required Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering.
