Kimble & Company Fire Protection is seeking a talented Sr. Designer to join their growing team. Hybrid or on-site preferred, but Kimble will gladly consider a fully remote role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and layout a complete sprinkler system and associated equipment to meet project specifications, applicable NFPA and local codes using HydraCAD for Autocad/Revit or Autosprink
- Run hydraulic calculations.
- Space co-ordination with other trades using Navisworks.
- Provide technical engineering information and interpretation of plans, detail sheets and specifications for Foreman.
- Identify contract document conflicts and find solutions by conferring with Architects and Fire Protection Engineer.
- Coordinate these solutions with the various trades and communicate changes for Foreman so that job can be completed on time.
- Stocklist material required to finish fire protection installation using HydraList.
Preferred Experience:
- A minimum of 5+ years of previous work history in similar position. HydraCAD for Autocad/Revit experience or Autosprink
- Experience using Bluebeam or Adobe Pro to edit, markup and package PDFs
- Experience in the Fire protection space
