SUMMARY
The Senior ERP Project Manager will take technical and functional leadership in the areas of ERP system administration, problem resolution, support, process mapping, system testing and development, security access, and training for internal and external users and clients. The Senior ERP Project Manager is a critical thinker and problem-solver with great attention to detail and communicates effectively with end-users at all levels of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement project plans for ERP functional support tasks
- Serve as a systems analyst with key personnel to help define user needs and develop data processing solutions
- Analyze current company processes, identify gaps and needs in current processes and procedures and propose solutions to overcome them
- Assist in developing procedures to ensure integrity of ERP system and databases
- Facilitate work with ERP developers, before, during and after the application development and implementation
- Design and present training materials for end-users
- Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services
- Optimize system performance by identifying problems and developing solutions
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Five years of professional work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Five (5) years demonstrated experience as ERP Project Manager or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in a related business discipline
- Thorough knowledge of IT systems and applications
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues during application ramp-up
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to be an effective team leader as well as a contributing team player
- Experience with ERP's (SAP, Oracle, Priority ERP etc.) or Inventory Systems (WMS, Purchasing Software)
- Experience with project development software (MS Project, etc.)
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Project and Power Point
- Strong data entry and data analysis skills
- Intermediate knowledge of using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- English Proficiency (reading, writing and verbal)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
MATHEMATICAL
- Intermediate mathematic problem solving
OTHER SKILLS
- Must have general knowledge of Customer Service, Purchasing, Logistics, Inventory Control and Quality processes and management methodologies
- Ability to work as a team member and foster a cooperative work environment while also being an individual contributor
- Self-motivated, energetic, and able to perform with minimal supervision
- Strong internal and external customer service skills
- Attention to detail and concern for accuracy
- Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality of company and customer records
- Strong organizational and follow up skills
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and projects
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving through root cause analysis
- Knowledge of ISO standards, quality management systems, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Maintain a positive attitude and ability to motivate people
TRAVEL REQUIRED
- Travel by car between IMS Arizona facilities
