Infrastructure Project Manager (PM) Job Summary:
Leads multiple internal IT and business projects, overseeing financial, scope, schedule, and risk management. Develops and adapts project work plans, ensuring alignment with company strategy. Directs and administers IT and business project teams, coordinating operational and administrative activities. Manages project deliverables across various business areas, participating in PMO process improvement initiatives and supporting new staff onboarding.

Directs and administers IT and business project teams, coordinating operational and administrative activities. Manages project deliverables across various business areas, participating in PMO process improvement initiatives and supporting new staff onboarding.
Infrastructure Project Manager (PM) Responsibilities:
- Develops communication plans to update project team members, customers, and sponsors (25% time).
- Identifies and collaborates with resource managers to assemble skilled teams. Manages issues, risks, and changes using established processes and tools (10% time).
- Determines project schedules, identifies critical paths and risks, and enforces delivery methodology and scheduling standards. Leads Project Team and maintains project work plans (15% time).
- Facilitates/participates in project reviews, retrospectives, and provides information for audits and status reports (10% time).
- Forecasts, manages, and reports on project financials, schedules, and resource utilization (15% time). Manages development and processing of funding documentation (15% time).
- Participates in process improvement initiatives and PMO onboarding activities (5% time).
- Performs other duties as needed (5% time).
Infrastructure Project Manager (PM) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred PMP certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience with system upgrades
- Thorough understanding of business/client environment, systems, and application technological alternatives.
- Knowledge of project management life cycle and systems development lifecycle (Iterative, Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Familiarity with project management tools, techniques, and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, understanding various technologies, and basic familiarity with Portfolio/Program Management Software.
- 2+ years of Project Management experience with a background in team development.
- 2+ years in an information technology capacity, understanding various technologies.
Infrastructure Project Manager (PM) Pay Rate:
- $45-$51 / HR Depending on Experience
