Martin/Martin, Inc. is a full-service civil and structural consulting engineering firm, headquartered in the Denver area, built on experience and industry leadership cultivated since the 1940s. Our engineered solutions are developed through a culture of integrity, service, creativity, and quality for the benefit of our clients and the community. Our structural engineers develop customized structural systems to meet design requirements for new facilities and expansions. Our civil teams focus on site and infrastructure design including traffic/transportation, parking, street layout/lighting, water and wastewater utilities, stormwater drainage, circulation, paving, surveying, security issues, and other site considerations. Our investigative engineers can provide support for existing projects, both buildings and sites, to design and implement repairs, renovations, or improvements. With nine office locations and a staff of more than 300, Martin/Martin engineers regularly perform work throughout Colorado, across the United States, and internationally.
Martin/Martin is looking for an experienced structural engineer to join our Lakewood, Colorado office. This engineer will have the opportunity for structural design nationally and internationally in markets such as healthcare, commercial, office, sports, entertainment, and education. Martin/Martin is a leading civil/structural consulting firm in the region and is client-focused and employee-centered. This candidate will possess strong written, technical, and interpersonal skills as well as having excellent time management and organization skills.
EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages engineering and technician staff to complete projects.
  • Coordinates structural design scope in-house and with other consultants.
  • Develops, monitors, and manages project work plans, schedules, and design budgets.
  • Serves as the primary point-of-contact with clients and contractors for their projects throughout design and construction.
  • Develops and implements project specific QA/QC plans.
  • Acts as a mentor and resource for less-experienced staff and assists with their career development.
  • Attends project meetings and represents Martin/Martin, Inc. during design and construction.
  • Takes an active role in developing and maintaining client relationships.

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum
  • 9 years progressive engineering experience (MSCE/MSAE counts as 1 year. Passing the 16-hour SE exam also counts as 1 year)
  • Demonstrates leadership abilities beneficial to the company's future
