As a Senior Program Scheduler, you will report to the Principal Program Planner & Program Controls and support the Program Management team within Ultra Naval Sensors and Systems.
It is preferred the successful candidate plan to work at UM's Chantilly, VA or Braintree, MA locations.

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.
Job Description
Duties Include:
  • Supports Program Managers in organizing and facilitating Program planning activities.
  • Assists Program Managers in developing and maintaining Program Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
  • Organizes, designs, develops, and maintains Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for programs.
  • Resource loads IMS to create Program Measurement Baseline (PMB), performs regular status (Earned Value) updates, as well as remaining work (ETC) estimates using MS Project.
  • Performs analysis of the Integrated Master Schedule to include schedule variance analysis, critical path analysis, DECM/DCMA 14-pt. schedule health analysis, resource analysis, and what-if scenarios.
  • Monitors schedule performance including weekly and monthly variance reports.
  • Develops IMS custom views and reports as requested by the Program Managers.
  • Proactively identifies and communicates schedule dependencies, impacts, and risks to the program management team.
  • Works collaboratively with program functional teams, integrated project teams, peer planners, and other stakeholders to review and understand schedule inputs/updates and address identified gaps and issues.
  • Participates in and supports program risk management and governance process.
  • Supports internal and customer facing program reviews.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • 5+ years of schedule management experience for product development or manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Project program scheduling processes and methodologies.
  • 3+ years of experience applying integrated cost/schedule and critical path methodologies within an Earned Value (EVMS) environment.
  • Resource Loading Schedules & Integrating with EV Tool (Cobra/MPM, etc.).
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time primarily to domestic locations.
  • Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens.

Desired Skills:
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills and ability to coordinate with multiple Program teams.
  • Experience scheduling large, complex US DoD Programs.
  • Experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Server.
  • 3+ years resource loading IMS.
  • PMI-SP Certification
  • Experience with the Deltek EV Tool Suite, and Cobra.
  • Experience managing Program schedules with subcontractor content.
  • Advanced degree in business management, program management or related field.
