The primary focus is on our impact on communities, aiming to review current initiatives and establish a comprehensive program with broad reach, significant impact, and strong engagement from HubSpot employees.
We are seeking a skilled individual with experience in developing and implementing impactful community initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and project management expertise.
The role also involves contributing to broader 'social' initiatives as part of our overall Environment, Social & Governance activities. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to promoting inclusion, making a positive impact, embracing innovation, and fostering relationships with colleagues and leaders to drive alignment and provide constructive feedback.
The role entails:
- Energizing and inspiring HubSpot employees and leaders to engage in community and ESG initiatives, fostering active participation through creative engagement strategies
- Taking overall responsibility for shaping the strategic vision and priorities for HubSpot's global community engagement activities, ensuring alignment with the business, positive outcomes for the communities served, and strong engagement from employees
- Leading the review and enhancement of existing community engagement programs, including strategic partnerships, volunteering initiatives, and fundraising efforts, to maximize impact and return on investment
- Overseeing ESG employee engagement activities, such as Earth Day campaigns and sustainability initiatives, to increase participation and excitement across the organization
- Leveraging technology, partnerships, and internal networks to expand community engagement efforts and amplify HubSpot's impact at the local and global levels
- Cultivating strong relationships with leaders and employees worldwide to gather feedback, enhance existing programs, and deliver a diverse range of community engagement initiatives
- Implementing robust data collection and analysis processes to measure inputs, outputs, and impact, and using data insights to drive decision-making and operational efficiencies
- Contributing to HubSpot's broader 'social' agenda by supporting initiatives related to human capital development, supply chain management, and human rights
- Providing thought leadership by leveraging industry best practices to enhance community and ESG employee engagement activities
Requirements:
- Proven track record of developing, managing and scaling successful community engagement programs, particularly within large organizations, and experience in scaling programs using innovative approaches and technology
- Extensive experience of engaging and mobilizing employees for volunteering, awareness campaigns, and fundraising activities
- Proficiency in managing employee engagement programs that create excitement and positive experiences
- Expertise in coordinating employee volunteering efforts, increasing participation rates, managing expectations, and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Knowledge of ESG principles, their significance for businesses, and preferably prior involvement in corporate ESG initiatives
- Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate various software solutions, especially platforms for volunteer management and data collection
- Skilled in securing buy-in and engagement across different business units
- Strong written and presentation skills for effective communication across diverse regions
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and project management capabilities
- Enthusiasm for personal and professional growth.
Cash compensation range: 118.500-189.600 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
