WORLD WIDE PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS is a project solutions organization committed to implementing lean constructions, collaborative contracting, and execution approaches to enable breakthroughs in performance.

WWPS is seeking a Senior Program Schedule Manager to join our growing team in Sunnyvale, California working as an owner representative on a large-scale microelectronics green field construction project. The successful candidate will have extensive construction Project Management experience related to large capital construction projects in the Semiconductor Industry.  The successful candidate must possess solid leadership, technical, organizational, communication skills, and proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The candidates work history must represent increased levels of responsibility on a progressive basis throughout their career.  The individual will report to the Program Director and will be located in Sunnyvale, CA. Semiconductor Construction Experience is Required. Per Diem/Travel package is available.

This position will require experience in overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from inception to completion aimed at meeting the project's requirements to produce a functionally and financially viable results.  Under little supervision, prepares construction schedules from engineering plans and specifications, reviews contractor schedule submittals, and prepares analysis. The Individual also participates in the development of project phasing, prepares schedule forensic analysis of contract changes, and prepares integrated master schedule in the absence of a general contractor. 
Specific Responsibilities
    • Work directly with the Owner to ensure that their program needs are met.
    • Work with GC's and subcontractors to monitor performance to ensure schedules are met.
    • Collaborate with owner to manage overall project risk and communication throughout project team.
    • Collaborates with Owners and GC/CM to develop, maintain and execute to the project schedule.
    • Prepare project reports and documentation, communicate with project team and management.
    • Produces what-if scenarios, project risk analysis, manpower histograms, percent complete, and other scheduling reports as needed by the project manager and client.
    • Provides supervision and technical direction to support staff.
    • Interfaces and maintains liaison with project management, clients, subcontractors, etc., on all planning and scheduling related items and functions, including reporting requirements, progress status, and new impacts.
Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 10 to 15 years of large project and construction management experience with strong results in meeting deadlines
    • Semiconductor experience required
    • Minimum of 5 years of direct supervision experience in large project management or construction environment
    • Knowledge of CPM scheduling in the construction environment
    • Demonstrated knowledge of construction standards, practices, techniques, and technology
    • Familiarity with Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling theory in a construction environment
    • Proficiency in construction logic and sequencing.
    • Proficiency in standard PC software and hardware, planning and scheduling software preferred P6.2/P6 Pro Software
    • Ability to read plans and specifications and develop and approach to construction
    • Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate several concurrent deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills: ability to work well with external vendors to drive results; ability to communicate within multiple levels in an organization
    • Strong analytical skills
Education:
    • B.S. Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or other related field or equivalent experience.
$200,000 - $250,000 a year
*Salary based on experience, Per Diem and Travel Package is available in addition to salary*
