Senior Product Manager (Ecommerce)

ABOUT THIS POSITION

As our Sr Product Manager, Ecommerce, you will join a dynamic environment where you will work cross functionally to plan, design, build, and roll-out products that deliver the company's vision and strategy while ensuring a smooth purchase experience for our students that can meet user and business needs now and into the future.

You will focus on growing our B2C business by understanding and optimizing our top-to-bottom funnel. To do this, you will own the roadmap for our ecommerce platform, including our content management system, that we use to facilitate 1.8 million monthly user sessions and 350,000 monthly purchases across multiple brands. You will join a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Product Marketers, and report to the Sr. Manager, Product Management (Platform).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own our ecommerce funnel top-to-bottom, and work with people across the company to optimize it
• Develop a deep understanding of the market, the current customer experience, and ecommerce state of the art in order to create educated hypotheses and strategy
• Create and own a roadmap for our ecommerce platform and content management system to achieve our product strategy
• Advocate for the ecommerce product vision within the company and to key external stakeholders
• Translate ecommerce product strategy into a prioritized roadmap of detailed initiatives, requirements, and prototypes in partnership with design and engineering
• Manage ecommerce platform backlog to meet our roadmap
• Oversee development from design to launch to ensure timely, high-quality feature delivery
• Engage with and perform needed customer research in concert with design team
• Ensure all regulatory requirements are met and issues are promptly addressed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 4+ years product management experience in a B2C / growth environment with a strong with a strong track record of developing and releasing In products
• Good understanding of core ecommerce principles such as SEO, SEM, A/B testing, conversion, and web vitals
• Strong analytical skills; ability to use data to make informed decisions
• Experience in developing agile product strategies based on varied stakeholder needs
• Solid foundation in ecommerce concepts and best practices
• Track record of using decision-making frameworks based on market research and data
• Experience managing multiple projects at once in line with operational and budgetary plans
• Ability to effectively influence and inspire others across the organization through clear, actionable recommendations

• Strong understanding of the capabilities and limitations of content management systems such as Craft CMS, Wordpress, and Contentful
• Experience with Craft CMS

Compensation: $110,000 - $150,000
