- Be a key player in The Company's groundbreaking Digital Transformation, with MBDMI at its core.
- Lead the charge in the manufacturing maturation of ceramic matrix composite (CMC) turbine components, shaping the future of aerospace technology.
- Work with a dynamic team committed to delivering engines that are more fuel-efficient, lightweight, and durable for commercial and military applications.
- Lead MBDMI implementation at the CMC Center of Excellence
- Lead implementation of standards, digital tools, and training for future state creation of Product definition, manufacture, and inspection
- Identify Model Based Design requirements to support overall digital thread between Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) and MBDMI.
- Support site initiative to implement Industry 4.0 principles, including IoT, AI, ML, and automation solutions.
- Apply data analytics to identify trends and relationships within the digital thread to improve processes and predict component life based on process data and field conditions (Product Digital Twin)
- Digitally model processes and the entire CMC supply chain (Process and System Digital Twins)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited school
- Minimum 10 years of related engineering experience OR 7 years with a master's degree
- SAP
- Strong knowledge of product design and definition
- Previous experience with CIPT, IPT or System Integration
- Exposure to manufacturing, quality, and aftermarket operations
- Manufacturing Execution System Lifecycle
- Ability to be a super-user for Model Based Enterprise eco-system
- Background in Connected Factory development and deployment
