Our portfolio includes over 100 owned and licensed brands including; Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, Joe's Jeans, Kate Spade, Timberland, Disney, Marvel, Nickelodeon, Zac Posen, Hudson, Robert Graham, and Taste Beauty.
Centric Brands is looking for a dynamic Senior Wholesale Planner to join its Accessories team. The position provides planning for a large volume of business across multiple brands and customer channels. The purpose of this position is to set plans that drive volume, margin, and inventory goals for the Accessories division. This role will report directly to the Sr. Planning Manager and will collaborate cross functionally with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Production.
- Create annual plans at the division, product category, and brand level that incorporates divisional financials goals for the year
- Update Annual Plan on a monthly basis to reflect prior month actuals as well as shifts in the business
- Communicate variances in sales plan versus budget and current plan to Finance team
- Collaborate with Sales team to develop plans for all customer segments driving to the Annual Financial Plan targets by leveraging historical data
- Manage an Open-to-Buy to maximize sales, control inventory levels, and achieve turn goals
- Forecast inventory on a monthly basis, to the brand / product category / gender level to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained by consistently reviewing current trend, weeks of supply, and turn
- Recommend and present chase, cancels, and other actions based on in-season business trends
- Produce weekly availability reports and monitor Aged Inventory
- Conduct a thorough weekly review of the order base and identify any risks or opportunities as it relates to achieving the monthly sales and gross margin goals
- Present sales and inventory forecast as well as supporting action plans to leadership team at Monthly Business Review
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 4 years wholesale or retail planning experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced excel for reporting and analysis
- Attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills
- Collaborative spirit with the ability to work cross functions and cross levels
- Self-Starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills, with ability to prioritize and achieve deadlines
- Comfortable learning new systems and building reporting
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and retail math skills
