We’re looking for a seasoned web developer and/or digital marketing professional with Agency Experience to join our team in a day-to-day operations and management role. Quality work and close client relationships are extremely important for our organization and our success.
The Operations Manager would ultimately be responsible for a wide range of tasks and services either through direct involvement and execution of work, or through management of our production team.
The ideal candidate would be fluent in English, highly organized, has strong written communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, as well as ability to document task status with prolific, organized notes.
The work would typically consist of active website project work - from estimation and planning to build-out and deployment, managing & executing client support requests, facilitating communication and efforts between different areas of our digital marketing efforts, working directly with our clients and with our sales team to discuss and estimate effort for new and existing client website & marketing initiatives.
We'll be regularly communicating and collaborating on projects and support tasks with you via Slack, Zoom, and our project management service Basecamp.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ Years Experience in a creative or web-focused marketing agency
5+ Years Experience in a Web Development Role (i.e. frontend, backend)
Experience with programming languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP
2+ Years experience in a management or operational oversight role
Experience in a client-facing role; facilitating communications, understanding client requests, demonstrating value
Extensive knowledge and first-hand experience of WordPress CMS
Deep understanding SEO strategies, processes, best practices
Understanding of SEO research tools, analytics, and reporting tools; i.e. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEM Rush, Google Search Console
E-Commerce & WooCommerce
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite products.
Experience directly creating or working with UI/UX design assets (wireframes, mockups, graphic design assets)
Experience with project management and collaboration tools ex. Basecamp
Bonus Skill & Experience:
Experience with clients & businesses in manufacturing / industrial niche
Experience & understanding of CPC campaigns & ad management, particularly Google Ads
Deep experience with Google Analytics, GTM, & Custom event tracking
UX/UI and Web Design Experience
Experience with SEM Rush
