The Senior NPI Value Stream Manager will manage and lead all phases production programs, including initial development phase through delivery of hardware to customers in a complex operations environment. You will lead the business’s specific production program interface with both internal and external customers. 

This position is at our location 2421 11th street, Rockford, Illinois.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the full lifecycle of products and services from inception through completion, inclusive of pursuit and order capture, design and development, produce to deliver, service/support, and long-term strategic business plans. 

• Assigned as the chair of the Integrated Project Team (IPT) accountable for managing the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule, performance and on-time delivery of company programs or subsystems of major programs. 

• Leads decision making for the IPTs and applies critical thinking where incomplete data exists. 

• Develops internal and external networks and communicates vision to IPT and stakeholders within and outside of the function. 

• Coordinate with production, operations, supply chain in managing production deliveries to meet customer schedule requirements. 

• Represent the Program to the company senior leadership, managing and reporting on-time delivery, production capacity, and customer satisfaction. 

• Support and organize program reviews, team meetings, and other regular business activities. 

• Status financial sales plan specific to programmatic deliveries. 

• Responsible for the business performance of assigned programs and customers including operational performance, sales, EBIT, and cost reduction. 

• Ensure customer satisfaction through strong communication and concise presentation material. 

• Manage and communicate production deliveries. 

• Manage and communicate demand and orders into the operations Value Stream. 

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• New Product Introduction experience is preferred.

• Program Management experience is preferred.

• Project Engineering is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred.

• Advanced degree in Business is preferred.
