Value Stream Owner - Data Operations Manager

NIQ's North America Quality and Compliance team provides our clients with flawless, high-quality data, and an unparalleled customer experience, by leading a proactive quality management organization geared toward regulating changes, minimizing risks, and implementing early detection strategies. 

Remote based role. Candidates must be physically located within the US.

As a Supplier Value Stream Owner, you are the single point of contact responsible for the quality of vendor and retail data ingested. You work closely with the retail commercial team and Global operations team to report performance trends, align with stakeholders on key performance indicators, oversee the quality and efficiency of the onboarding and data reception to ensure first time right data from the vendor/supplier and collaborate with the retail commercial team and client ops teams to address data gaps and prioritize quality improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the DQI (data quality improvement) supplier dashboard. 
• Identification of patterns, tracking issues and working with action owners to close problem areas.  
• Goal is Zero Blacklisted retailers and enabling the management of Exception based retailers into Silver, Gold and Platinum delineations. 
• Manage the oversight and governance of new retailer releases. 
• Accountable for the compliance of change management protocols, benchmarks on coding coverage, and trending analyses. 
• Sign off against retailer expected trends and delivered sales and units to the retailer's internal business. 
• Owner of the problem management plans, root cause analysis, and long-term solutions / preventative actions.  
• Value Stream Owner (VSO) oversees processes across multiple functional teams, liaises with execution teams in Chennai to foster a culture of continuous improvement, the ops transformation teams on process and tool gaps, and the executive level engagement for supplier metrics and performance back to NIQ leadership. 

• 10+ years of progressive professional experience with a combination of experience in Project, Program, Product, Finance and/or Supplier Management.
• Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights.
• Experience in B2B product management for highly data-driven products.   
• Preferred experience in market intelligence company such as Nielsen, SPINS, Circana (IRI, NPD), Mintel, Euromonitor or similar.
• Bachelor's degree preferably in Economics, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or Research Sciences.
