Our Dublin, Ohio client has a contract opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer. The ideal candidate must be adept at handling real-world challenges and providing effective solutions. They will play a critical role in the success of our network infrastructure, particularly in our warehouse automation and IoT initiatives.

Our Dublin, Ohio client has a contract opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer. The ideal candidate must be adept at handling real-world challenges and providing effective solutions. They will play a critical role in the success of our network infrastructure, particularly in our warehouse automation and IoT initiatives.
We are looking for a part time candidate who will work 10 to 15 hours per week.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BS or MS in EE).
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing complex network projects.
- At least 3 years of experience in networks supporting warehouse automation systems and robotics.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Aruba and Cisco Layer 3 switches and wireless solutions.
- Hands-on experience with ClearPass, ServiceNow ITIL, Cloud Genix ION.
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
- Demonstrated ability in complex network design and implementation.
- Palo Alto experience is a nice to have.
Professional Attributes:
- This is not an entry-level position. The candidate must be self-sufficient, able to work with minimal supervision, and capable of leading complex implementations within 6 weeks of joining.
- Willing to work two weekends per month and be on call for one week per month to support Tier 2 & 3 Clear pass as well as IoT network issues.
Certifications & Licenses:
- CCNA
- Proficiency in Aruba and Cisco Layer 3 switches and wireless solutions.
