Description:
The bank is in the process of migrating applications to a new colocation data center. The Network engineer will be working with Infrastructure resources, Application subject matter experts and Security Engineers in an effort to prepare and migrate applications, external and private connections to the bank's applications. This position will entail analysis as well as implementation assistance and troubleshooting during migrations.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years Cisco networking experience. Working knowledge of Cisco networking (Nexus Platform, routers), Cisco LAN and WAN technologies.
- Cisco CCNP certification a plus
- Must know Citrix Xen and VMWare Networking components
- Shift Flexibility - Work off hours at times and between shifts to accomplish a multitude of tasks which cannot be performed during bank hours.
- High level Network Engineering in a complex highly segmented secure network environment. Ability to troubleshoot complex networks and security infrastructure.
- Ability to work with vendors to manage external connections
- Must have working knowledge of HP Blade and HP Virtual Connect technologies
- Create comprehensive documentation for new deployments and changes to existing systems
- Having a solid working experience and understanding of; Windows Active Directory, Windows DNS, VMWare, Citrix Xen Virtualization, Check Point firewalls, HP SAN Storage, Bluecoat web filtering.
- Travel - job requires occasional travel between NY, Parsippany, and Philadelphia as needed
- Closely adhere to Change Management and Security policies and procedures.
