And now, we're looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our ranks!


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead the design and development of automation and mechanical systems from concept through to implementation, ensuring they meet functional, cost, reliability, and sustainability targets.
  • Manage projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and process engineers, to integrate and troubleshoot automated systems.
  • Drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends and advancements in automation and Mechanical Engineering technologies.
  • Oversee the preparation of technical documentation, including design specifications, assembly instructions, and maintenance manuals, prints for part, assembly, and BOMs to assist in production and marketing information.
  • Create testing and validation procedures for products in the production phase.
  • Generate assembly instructions and assembly level tolerance and stack-up analysis.
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.
  • Work as a team to solve complex design and manufacturing problems to make quick, educated decisions to overcome design and manufacturing issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Do You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on precision tooling, mechanical design and automation in the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficient in CAD and CAE software for mechanical design and simulation (e.g., SolidWorks).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the integration of automated systems within these processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome engineering challenges.
  • Proven track record of leading engineering projects to successful completion.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2009 standards, DFM, DFC, and DFA with a heavy focus in CNC milling and turning.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Current knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements related to manufacturing automation.
  • Some experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems preferred.
