Job description

Job Summary: In this role, you will join a team responsible for material handling, transporting, receiving, kitting, cycle counting and shipping per AS9100 standards and utilizing an established MRP system. Duties/Responsibilities: * Ensure orderly distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies between stockrooms, outside suppliers, shop floor, and customer. * Locate, package and stage finished products for final distribution/shipment.

* Process MRP transactions with accuracy and efficiency * Contribute to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area. * Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages. * Ensure safe operation of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and other machinery to move and transport materials to and from storage areas.

* Perform daily cycle count and year-end inventory. * Keep stockrooms, loading areas, and machinery clean. * Open containers, sort, and catalog materials.

* Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations. Required Skills/Abilities: * HS diploma or GED required. 3-5 years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Logistics/Inventory role. * Must be able to work in a challenging and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, accountability, and professional development. * Experience working with MRP systems, work order kitting and warehouse management systems.

* Ability to commit to and work under deadlines. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Other Requirements: * Must be able to lift and carry weight unassisted up to 25 lbs. * Certification to operate a forklift may be required.
