The Sr. Manager for Inside Sales is responsible for the successful expansion of Bluebeam’s business in the defined region, and ensuring the regional operation aligns with Bluebeam’s overarching purpose and strategic plan. The individual is highly driven, results oriented, and capable of building and executing a strategic operating plan aimed at achieving the financial and customer acquisition goals.


The Sr. Manager is responsible for building and growing a high-performing and engaged customer-facing go-to-market team.

This position is a very hands-on, client-facing role, working closely with cross-functional leads to ensure proper alignment, maintaining and cultivating strategic customer relationships, coordinating sales and marketing activities, and developing local go-to-market (GTM) strategies while acting as the champion for Bluebeam’s long-term growth & success in the region. This role will likely be based out of our Dallas, TX office.


What You’ll Do:

  • Achieve or exceed the revenue and customer objectives for the assigned territory.
  • Have direct influence on all customer and market facing aspects of our expanding operation in the global Inside sales accounts and influence other Bluebeam functions to ensure alignment to success
  • Create and execute a strategic business plan that defines our GTM/RTM strategy from a sales / marketing standpoint and the organizational and system dependencies.
  • Drive a high-performance sales team through management, coaching and motivation.
  • Recruit, retain and develop talent, recognizing and rewarding performance to scale with growth.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating the values and standards of behaviour of Bluebeam
  • Work directly with customers alongside cross-functional stakeholders to help appropriately inform / guide our market strategy.
  • Successfully collaborate with cross-functional leadership to strategize how best to launch, price, market and sell Bluebeam’s products in the SMB market.
  • Create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress against the strategic plan and revenue goals
  • Assist in the creation of annual operating budgets and targets and ensure we operate to the plan
  • Ensure the business model is culturally relevant without losing consistency to the overarching Bluebeam business model
  • Develop goals and policies, and establish standard operating procedures that are in alignment with the Bluebeam’s purpose
  • Demonstrate effective collaboration with Bluebeam Management and other sales leaders to enable Global Strategic consistency
  • Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing consistency to the overarching Bluebeam business model
  • Contribute to the overall global success of our company
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Any other duties as requested by Bluebeam
  • Ensure 100% of annual quota is attained or exceeded
  • Professional develop team members
  • Effectively negotiate value-based agreements with all customers
  • Ability to partner and develop professional working relationships and initiatives with other Bluebeam internal business partners
  • Optimize the use of Salesforce.com and other tools to manage the sale process and provide accurate and timely forecasts
  • Participate with the team to build relationships with VP, C-level, and technical decision makers to identify new opportunities for Bluebeam
  • Effectively negotiate value-based enterprise agreements built on business-level ROI
  • Engage in active communication with other departments to make sure all relevant information is communicated and escalated appropriately
  • Consistently engage with Bluebeam’s Product team and cultivate an active feedback loop to communicate customer information and insights
  • Provide feedback to senior leadership on market trends, competitive analysis, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers
  • Work with Marketing, Enterprise and Channel Sales teams, and other key internal stakeholders to achieve sales goals
  • Up to 50% travel

What we’d like to see in you:

  • 10+ years experience conducting business within a Software as a Service (SaaS) sales environment, with any exposure to the AEC software market highly desirable
  • Significant experience with and knowledge of international customers and channel partners within software sales
  • 7 + years managing both Inside sales and sales development teams, with a strong understanding of the driving forces behind each
  • Skilled at creating and executing a strategic business plan that defines a sales GTM/RTM strategy
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally as part of a global team and create healthy influence and successful partnerships that enables the achievement of international goals
  • Outstanding negotiating skills and ability to assist team in customer negotiations
  • Analytical yet creative thinker with superior problem-solving skills
  • Decisive, passionate, driven by success and committed to growth

  • Highly developed leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales position are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. The base pay range for this position is: $125,700 - $157,100 plus eligible commissions
