Ellucian is seeking a dynamic and passionate Inside Sales leader to help take our team to the next level. Reporting to the SVP, Specialty Sales, the Sr Manager, Inside Sales will be a key member of the Revenue Management team at Ellucian and will support the acceleration and execution of our strategic plan. The right candidate for this position is highly organized, an excellent cross-functional collaborator, culture builder, and experienced leading and working in a team-selling environment.
Where you will make an impact
- Hiring, coaching and developing a team of Inside Sales Representatives to increase
revenue growth through cross-sell of Ellucian ancillary products and professional
services. - Reinforcing overall accountability to top-line growth for the organization, while shaping
the focus to continue to drive toward longer-term goal attainment. - Leading with a data-driven strategy to maximize the long-term value of existing
customers. - Setting the strategy around whitespace & territory management, demand generation,
forecasting and opportunity execution. - Building accountability and urgency by setting appropriate performance metrics that
drive desired behaviors and results. - Supporting the team across the full sales cycle- from opportunity qualification through
pricing and contract closure. - Creating and managing processes to optimize coordination within the revenue
organization, internal cross-functional teams, and third-party partners. - Positioning Ellucian’s unique value proposition in a highly competitive market and
leading with a deep curiosity for market and higher-education trends and dynamics.
What you will bring
- 3+ years of successful SaaS Sales leadership experience, preferably within complex,
team-based sales environments. - A demonstrated track record of leading and developing highly engaged teams to
consistent goal attainment. - Operational hygiene and ability to utilize data to predict trends, build forecasts, and
adjust your sales strategy accordingly. - A growth-mindset, continually seeking opportunities to develop skills, adapt to
challenges and embrace a dynamic sales environment. - Experience in EdTech/Higher Education preferred, but not required
