Role: Senior Manager of Inside Sales
Location: Minneapolis MN

Position Summary:
John Edeboll, Vice President of Sales for the Sales team at Perforce is searching for a Senior Manager of Inside Sales to join the team. We are looking for an individual who has a proven background as an Inside Sales leader with an over-the-top passion for people, experience in managing high-velocity sales models, and a continuous improvement mindset. The successful candidate will assume overall responsibility for planning and day-to-day management of our BlazeMeter Inside Sales team as well as additional brands. In this role you will be ensuring sales growth that meets or exceeds company targets. We are on a mission to build out a sales factory that nurtures and creates a pipeline of sellers that continue to climb their career ladder.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, support, and coach a team of Inside Sales professionals.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Foster a data-driven approach, utilizing analytics and key performance indicators to assess and enhance sales team performance.
  • Implement and optimize sales processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and overall effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop and execute integrated sales and marketing campaigns that generate leads and drive customer engagement.
  • Drive innovation within the Inside Sales function, exploring and implementing emerging technologies and methodologies to stay ahead in the competitive landscape.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to drive collaboration and facilitate successful outcomes.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership, offering a comprehensive overview of Inside Sales performance, trends, and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of sales management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in addition to 10+ years of enterprise software, SaaS, or technology sales experience, with a focus on selling to larger global customers and prospects.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving sales targets and objectives in previous roles.
  • Leadership that encourages creativity, accountability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and performance along with an exceptional passion for people, coupled with the ability to provide inspirational coaching particularly among junior sales team members.
  • Experience as a first line leader in a high-velocity model with strong experience coaching sellers & forecasting deals using MEDDPIC in a transactional sales environment. Proven overachiever selling in the DevOps / QAOps space.
  • Proclivity for winning, building high-performing collaborative teams, and maintaining a go-getter attitude, balanced with a respectful approach and high integrity.
  • Diligence and attention to detail, with an ability to follow established playbooks and utilize data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Comfort in fast-paced environments, adept at managing multiple activities concurrently.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, driving effective collaboration with marketing, sales engineering, product, and customer success teams.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills, capable of quickly constructing compelling presentation materials and presenting at an executive level.
  • Proficiency in complex solution selling requiring collaboration from multiple functional teams across global customers and internal or external teams.
  • Comfortable engaging with a global customer base and interacting in a multicultural environment.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly to market changes, staying informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, capable of building consensus among diverse stakeholders.
