Senior Manager, Financial Accounting - Remote

Manage Accounting, Treasury, and Risk Management functions of Shiseido Americas. This role includes providing governance over the Company's accounting policies & controls; managing monthly cash flow analysis, insurance programs and travel & entertainment systems.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the Company is JSOX Compliant by providing governance over internal controls and policies
• Create and update Company Accounting and Finance policies
• Coordinate JSOX and Operational Audits with Internal and External Auditors
• Research literature to support accounting treatment and methodology used in accordance with IFRS and the Company's financial policies
• Participate in special projects as needed (business integration, system implementations, global harmonization and standardization, other process improvements)
• Oversee Long-Term and Short-Term Cash Forecast Analysis
• Participate in Net Working Capital Initiatives

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting required
• 7+ years experience (public / private mix preferred)
• Ability to work independently, identify problems and propose creative solutions
• Flexibility, multi-tasking, creative thinking, good business judgment, strong organizational & communication skills are all required to meet strict deadlines
• Agile to change
• Must be a strong team player, highly motivated, and eager to learn
• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office, including proficiency with MS Excel

Salary :
$88,800 - $122,100/ year
