GEI seeks a Senior Manager, Corporate Development to help support growth across the organization. This role involves several facets of strategic planning, managing merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities, managing strategic partnerships, and driving long-term growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, strategic planning, marketing, and business development.

This role will be part of GEI’s marketing organization at GEI and will report to GEI’s Vice President of Corporate Development. This position may on occasion support other marketing efforts across the country. As a part of this larger team, there is ample opportunity for mentorship, growth, and teamwork.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
- Support the development and execution of a comprehensive Corporate Development strategy in line with the company's objectives.
- Support the development, execution, and monitoring and reporting of GEIs strategic plan.
- Manage the GEI M&A process for evaluating and reporting on opportunities, including participating in conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and deal structuring.
- Perform financial analyses that support growth strategies and initiatives across the organization.
- Manage relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and advisors.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on Corporate Development activities and progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the feasibility and impact of potential growth initiatives.
- Participate in the integration of acquired entities and ensure alignment with the company's culture and goals.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement in Corporate Development processes and practices.
- Other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or Journalism. MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of marketing experience in the AEC industry.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders including senior management.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with financial analysis software.
