Key Responsibilities:The Senior Manager of Cardholder Engagement is responsible for leading a marketing team that develops and runs a customer-facing digital platform to reinforce the value that cardholders receive through their MileagePlus co-branded credit card and to drive further engagement with the card program. The Senior Manager will closely collaborate with the co-brand issuing partner, United Digital Technology, Loyalty IT, Data Engineering, and external creative/tech partners to design, develop, and launch the platform.
Cardholder Engagement PlatformOwn the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the cardholder/member engagement center in United digital channels in close collaboration with Digital Technology, Loyalty IT, Agency and Data Analytics/Engineering
Cardholder Events & ExperiencesResponsible for coordinating all activities associated to launching successful event from beginning to end
Define offer/channel strategy & help lead a comprehensive event calendar in close collaboration with Sr. Analyst
Partner with internal and external marketing teams to plan and implement all communications associated to events through various channels (email, online display, social media)
Performance Tracking & AnalysisCollaborate with Data Analytics to define important metrics of the programs and track/measure effectiveness
Create the benefits narratives for the marketing efforts and socialize the positive impact/benefit with the key internal/external collaborators and Marketing/Loyalty leadership
Publish and present monthly Cardholder Engagement dashboard to a broader partner group
Timeline & Budget ManagementHandle the program budget and timelines and proactively communicate the progress and potential issues with key partners
This is a hybrid role, which requires working onsite 50% of the time at Willis Tower in Chicago, IL. This role will also be required to travel at minimum 25% of the time, with the potential to travel up to 50% of the time.

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field
5 years' experience in marketing, partnerships, sales, marketing systems, web-applications, project-management, and/or event-management
Ability to multi-task, coordinate multiple events at once
Problem solving, time management, planning, and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation capabilities
Marketing strategy and execution across email, direct mail, and web channels
Knowledge of or experience in credit card or travel industry loyalty programs
Ability to collaborate, gain alignment cross-functionally, and handle conflicts
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
