The Sr. Manager, Cell Therapy Experience & Reimbursement Operations is a member of this account management team, reporting to the Group Product Director, CAR-T Cell Therapy Experience. The role will provide operations support for both the Cell Therapy Experience Leads (CTELs) who assist certified sites facilitating successful CARVYKTI® product utilization by advising them on order management, operations and logistics. Additionally, this role will provide operations support for the CARVYKTI Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) team.
A Day In The Life
The primary responsibility of this role will be to support the Cell Therapy Experience Leads (CTEL) and Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) field teams as they provide maintenance services and coordinate site certification activities for CARVYKTI treatment centers. Like other field teams, the CTEL and FRM teams require in-house support, like the coordination of communications, ownership of the CRM platform and management of requests for data and analytics. As the CTEL team is undergoing an expansion in 2024, this role will also lead critical activities associated with the growth of this key team, including the alignment of new roles to planned new sites/geographies.
Detailed responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- CTEL/FRM Alignment (10%) - Support the Cell Therapy Experience team and CARVYKTI Market Access Marketing by leading alignment exercises to determine team structure and sizing. Lead targeting initiatives and call planning initiatives.
- Field Enablement (20%) - Serve as primary owner of the CTEL CRM System and FRM analytics, ensuring evolution of system to changing team needs. Lead National Meeting/POA Planning in partnership with Sales Learning & Development cross-functional partner.
- Data, Reporting & Analytics (30%) - Create new and evolve existing performance metrics and effectiveness measures. Serve as primary point of contact for Ad Hoc Home Office requests related to CTEL and FRM performance and effectiveness measures.
- Communications (25%) - Lead field force communications for CTEL and FRM teams. Create communications calendar to visualize and execute both planned and ad hoc communications for both field teams. Work with Cell Therapy Experience Marketing and Market Access Marketing to create discrete communications tactics and deploy.
- Cross-functional Partnership on Strategic Initiatives (15%) - Serve as Cell Therapy Experience & FRM team subject-matter expert (SME) during brand planning process. Participate in ad hoc strategic projects TBD.
Qualifications
- Education and work experience: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 7 years of work experience in the healthcare industry is required. Prior field experience (sales or non-demand generating role) preferred.
- Sales Operations background: Prior experience in a sales operations role preferred.
- People Leadership: Prior experience leading cross-functional teams is required. Direct people leadership experience is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to manage conflict and defuse difficult situations.
- Project and process management: Skilled in overseeing, monitoring and managing complex projects and operational procedures.
- Collaboration: Effectively work in a team environment that will require you to coordinate activities and build partnerships across multiple internal/external organizations.
- Resourcefulness: Skilled in using personal knowledge and any other available resources to resolve problems for customers and ensure their satisfaction. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and is motivated by the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment; exercises calm, sound, constructive judgment during demanding situations.
