Form of workAs a Senior Inventory Control Specialist for Nike AirMI you will be the primary resource regarding SAP parts for the AirMI maintenance team. You will develop and implement strategies for improving our in-stock position for parts, oversee cycle counts, and follow up on PO's as needed. In the senior role you will be expected to look for ways to improve all processes and identify and eliminate waste. Job responsibilities include:
- Cycle count management and verification
- Establish ordering parameters with min/max quantities, lead time and reorder points
- Following up with the purchasing group on overdue PO's
- Overseeing all out for repair PO's
- Providing guidance to Inventory Control Specialist
- Identifying and working to address gaps in the parts process flow
- Point of contact for our vendor reps
- Assist on PMs / simple troubleshooting equipment
- Diagnose and solve complex spare parts issues
- Inventory quantification and analytical skills to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Equipment failure evaluation against Vendors Parts
Available schedules:
B: M - Th Overnight shift (5:30 pm - 5:30 am)
D: F - Sun Overnight shift (5:30 pm - 5:30 am)
Requirements:
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 1-year Parts Room experience in a high-volume manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Office user
- SAP super-user
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 40lbs
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong mechanical proficiency preferred
