You will be part of the Air MI Maintenance organization, where you will be a collaborative leader with vision to lead all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department! Leads a unit of Sr. Technicians to implement work as necessary - maintain equipment and assign technicians to various projects. This role evaluates production equipment to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed and collaborate with planners to appropriately develop maintenance procedures, plan work assignments and/or project schedules.

We're looking for a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our Air MI Maintenance team!
This Maintenance Supervisor will lead a highly visible transformation to drive a cultural shift in maintenance continuous improvement. Expect to implement rapid change; be a hands-on team builder. Provide strong support of environmental compliance, safety, and quality efforts. Develop and coach direct reports to strategically trouble-shoot equipment failures as well as supporting the operations department Autonomous Maintenance plans.
What will you work on:
Maintenance Supervisorwill lead all maintenance department shift efforts while leading a team of Maintenance crew members, and other key members associated with the shift. You will provide the technical link between maintenance functions and production needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to the development of maintenance planners, controls technicians / engineers, and maintenance technicians such that they are accountable for achieving individual, team, and maintenance department goals.
- Control the ongoing repair for their mechanics platform responsibilities. Implement cost reductions to offset negative or unplanned variance to the fiscal plan while achieving proposed equipment performance objectives.
- On a regular basis, meet with the shift Operations team to review equipment maintenance issues with the overall goal to maintain equipment performance efficiencies.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and provide a vision for technical improvement across the plant.
- Assess spare parts availability for your shift and communicate to Inventory Controls team on associated assets components' gaps
- Coordinate and facilitate work team meetings (examples: pre-shift, crew meetings, roundtables, etc.).
- Resolve employee relations issues and work with maintenance staff to drive skills capability.
- Take appropriate action to ensure the execution of the applicable Maintenance Business Systems and communicate to relevant personnel all information crucial to ensure the effective implementation of the MBS.
- Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Safety, Quality, and maintenance department's Audit systems.
- Partner with Reliability Trainer to conduct presentations and formal training programs for both maintenance, engineering, and production team members.
- Constantly assessing team's capability and support needed for the success of their crew
Schedule : Fri - Sunday and every other Thursday (5:30 pm - 5:30 am)
Who you will work with:
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this critical role will be an instrumental leader framing the future of Air MI maintenance technical workforce. You will have a dotted-line reporting structure to the Reliability Manager
To fully deliver optimal Maintenance goals, the Maintenance Supervisor will partner and have considerable interaction with multi-functional teams consisting of Engineering and Production.

- Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions vital for the safe performance of assigned duties.
- Guide and Support maintenance technicians and operations in trouble-shooting production equipment when vital
- Support and responsibility for the deployment and implementation of crew training programs
- Assists the EH&S team in the deployment and management of site safety and environmental programs
- Support the Maintenance Manager in the development of High-Performance Work Teams and assist with leading Cultural development through MBS Implementation
- Proven track record to work independently and successfully facilitate multi-functional teams, while implementing improvement within an established time frame
- Facilitate focused improvement events (Kaizen) for your crew.
