Senior M&A Analyst

Job Description: The Össur Americas Strategy Office is seeking a highly motivated and talented M&A Senior Analyst with a strong background in financial analysis and market intelligence. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and global team, supporting Ossur's M&A projects in our Americas region with strong focus on both the Product division and our growing Patient Care division. The M&A Senior Analyst manages the M&A pipeline and assists in evolving M&A Strategy including incorporation of Market Intelligence and performing M.I. analytics.
Responsibilities:
Market Intelligence:
• Utilize market intelligence to support M&A targeting, prioritization and valuation modelling
• Analyze data to define market size and share, competitive position, and identify and prioritize specific market opportunities
• Quantitative and qualitative data analysis of internal and external research to determine market conditions, dynamics, trends, drivers, size as well as new growth opportunities
• Analyze and provide business leadership with insights and foresights of market and customer dynamics that will help to make strategic and tactical decisions for Össur
M&A Analysis and Project Management
• Builds and maintains financial models, DCF, and comparables analysis
• Research, review, and screen potential acquisition and partnership opportunities
• Keeps M&A pipeline up to date in close co-operation with local management
• Responsible for business case formulation, valuation modeling, coordination of due diligence work and post-acquisition follow-up
• Participate in and prepare for meetings and due diligence sessions with target company management and external advisors (e.g., advisors, lawyers, and accountants)
• Support leaders in developing and presenting executive-level memoranda, presentations, and detailed financial analysis to share with senior leadership
• Support ad hoc projects (e.g., analysis of prospect pipeline, tracking of prior investments, etc.) and other administrative tasks to enhance performance and connectivity with operations
• Maintains project sites and documentation
• Support the planning and execution of acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives spanning all facets of the process, including assessment, due diligence, negotiations, and closing
Due Diligence Support:
• Assist in conducting due diligence activities, including data gathering, analysis, and validation
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams to review legal documents, contracts, and financial statements of potential targets
• Analyze and assess risks, synergies, and potential integration challenges associated with target companies
Qualifications:
Education

• Bachelors or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• MBA preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience (and 1-3 years in similar position) required
• Experience from private equity, M&A group at an investment bank, or corporate development department preferred
• Experience with physician group acquisitions or healthcare delivery / operations environment is a plus

• Excellent understanding of M&A concepts, valuation techniques, and financial statement analysis
• High proficiency in data analysis, DCF & financial modeling and reporting

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 - $107,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
