Job Overview:
Reporting to the IT Manager, the Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer is accountable for the design, implementation, and support of the DMS infrastructure including the server, network, and O365 environment. The Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer will have direct Interface with the multiple DMS business units, customers, and suppliers to provide services and support for the IT infrastructure.
Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Installs, configures, monitors, and maintains the DMS infrastructure
• Troubleshooting and issue resolution for network infrastructure
• Responsible for the design and implementation of infrastructure changes and upgrades

Required Skills/Education/Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and/or qualifications:

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of industry experience with Infrastructure Engineering
• Network Skills
• Responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of the network infrastructure including, switches, routers, Wireless Access Points/ Controllers, and firewalls
• Provides escalated on and off hours support for all escalated IT issues
• Maintains expert level skills with multiple IT infrastructure elements including Cisco network hardware, Nutanix storage systems, VMWare, and Microsoft Operating Systems, SolarWinds (Incident and Performance Management Tool)
• Manages the IP Address schema for the network infrastructure
• Provides the technical designs and configurations for infrastructure security including VPN services, domain controls, security policies, firewall configurations, and administrative levels
• Strong understanding of physical and logical network segmentation including VLANs and IP subnetting
• Knowledgeable in TCP/IP configurations, network addressing, and IP address management
• Strong understanding of the OSI Model with an emphasis on Layers 1-4
• Skilled in network routing protocols including OSPF and EIGRP
• Expertise with DNS and DHCP
• Strong skills in structured in both copper and fiber cabling
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting network issues including connectivity and latency for both the production and office environments
• Ability to configure and maintain network management and monitoring systems such as Solarwinds
• Knowledgeable with ITIL processes and procedures
• Experience using Visio to document and maintain the network drawings and documentation
• Tier 1 automotive interior supplier experience is desirable
• Able to perform in a very demanding environment where change is common.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks with respect to critical path timing
• Infrastructure Skills – Server/O365/End User Compute
• Responsible for the configuration and implementation of the VMWare and Microsoft Server operating systems for the DMS production and development servers
• Manages the End User Compute environment that includes the administration of O365, Active Directory, Group Policies, Laptop Configurations, and Employee On-Boarding and Off-Boarding
• Provides escalated on and off hours support for all escalated IT issues
• Administers IP addresses for new system, workstation, printer, or device deployments
• Manages and administers the VEEAM back-up systems
