The HR Specialist is responsible for providing HR support and customer service to both local and remote employees in the US and Canada. The HR Specialist is part of a collaborative team responsible for implementing Human Resource (HR) initiatives and establishing HR functional excellence. Primary responsibility is to provide HR support to the PACCAR Parts business leaders, administer HR programs and policies, participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide excellent customer service to employees and business leaders.
Organizational and HR Effectiveness:
Maintains employee records within HRIS system
Creates employee files and termination files
Prepares monthly slide deck for leadership team meetings
Maintains and updates organizational charts
Assists with annual Affirmative Action Plan data compilation
Assists employees with HR related questions and issues
Processes HR-related Service Requests
Ensures compliance with policies and procedures
Participates in global HR continuous improvement initiatives and HR Projects as assigned
Create, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs
Manages temporary employee and contractor process
Engagement, Rewards and Retention:
Supports annual benefits Open Enrollment through coordination of communication and responding to employee questions as needed
Coordinates building events such as blood drive, holiday food and toy drives, and book fair
Assists with the coordination of summer intern events
Coordinates service anniversary recognition certificates
Training and Development:
Monitors 90-day performance appraisal process
Supports annual performance appraisal process including data entry and filing
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field is required.
2 years of Human Resources experience
Proficient with MS Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
HRIS experience preferred; SAP a plus.
Ability to effectively accomplish multiple priorities in established time periods.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and customer service orientation.
Ability to work with confidential information and adapt to continually changing priorities.
Must be a creative and innovative problem-solver with the ability to develop an analysis based on researching HR trends.
Ability to work with employees and managers at all different levels of the organization.

Salary Range:
At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $86,350 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
