Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, the Senior Credit & Collections Specialist will be responsible for collections on a portfolio of customer accounts including ensuring timely collections, ship hold releases, setting credit limits and additional reporting.

Responsibilities:

·       Monitor and collect on an assigned customer portfolio that could be either domestic or international, including continuous follow up on past due and coming due invoices, dispute resolution, and reconciliation of account and payment detail. 

·       Work with credit desk to establish and review customer credit limits. 

·       Review and release on hold orders.

·       Identify areas for process improvement and apply to both individual assignments and team responsibilities. 

·       Create and update of standard work.

·       Work within and understand regulations and best practices surrounding collections.

·       Ensure timely escalation of issues to management and other functions as appropriate.

·       Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Contracts and Order Management, as needed.

·       Participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure optimal efficiency.

·       Assist with monthly closing duties as assigned.

·       Assist with audit and compliance activities as assigned.

Background Requirements and Experience:

·       5+ years of related experience with a high school diploma or equivalent

·       Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

·       Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

·       Familiarity with Oracle ERP a plus

·       Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure

·       Great organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail

·       Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of maturity, diplomacy, and professionalism

Pay range pending.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
