For our team, we are looking for an experienced, proactive, and forward-thinking Human Resources Business Partner, Senior to excel in a dynamic role focused on managing day-to-day HR activities, providing advice and guidance to leaders, and supporting the strategic direction and goals of the organization. This experienced HR Business Partner will support the leadership teams of multiple business units, serving as a consultant to management on HR-related issues, an employee champion, and a change agent.

This position will serve as strategic partner and key member of the leadership team for assigned organizations, assisting the business units with staffing, workforce planning, career development, training, org design, people analytics, change management, and performance management. The HR Business Partner aligns HR policies, processes and resources to support business objectives, employees, and managers across business units. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge in Human Resources laws and regulations, experience building strong partnerships with business leaders, and be able to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload. Additionally, candidates should have the ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Candidates will be joining a strong team of HR Business Partners and will collaborate with subject matter experts across our Centers of Excellence (COE). Ideal candidates will come with a solid background in Human Resources and a passion for working on a progressive team, focused on the business goals and success of the organization.

This role can be worked remotely from anywhere in the United States.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Builds strong business relationship with assigned business area, acting as the primary point of contact for associates and people leaders within business unit.
  • Creates a vision for talent strategy at the business unit level by understanding the talent needs of the business and identifying talent issues before they impact the business.
  • Proactively addresses and responds to organizational development issues by assessing performance gaps, proposing and/or supporting implementation of appropriate interventions, including strategic planning, tactical and project planning.
  • Assesses and diagnoses organizational situations, ensuring alignment of business goals with organizational designs and development or recommendation of solutions.
  • Provides expertise and support, ensuring that change management activities within the business units are managed in a timely, professional, and lawful manner and that communications regarding change are clear, concise, and consistent.
  • Identifies opportunities to create organizational development solutions that blends organizational effectiveness, talent development, change management to drive significant improvements in performance and productivity.
  • Responsible for all employee relations activities including, but not limited to: conducting workplace investigations, providing advice and guidance to managers on performance, maintaining strong connections with the workforce to address issues and monitor trends.
  • Identifies and presents critical HR metrics and shares results with both HR and business unit leaders.
  • Manages complex and difficult HR Projects cross-functionally.
  • Collaborates with COEs including Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development.
  • Builds relationships with internal stakeholders and other colleagues to create learning opportunities and share best practices.
  • Identifies and prepares development plans with and for key and high potential employees.
  • Ensures policies, procedures and programs are administered to ensure that the company properly complies with legal and ethical standards.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Must have a minimum of 6 years of Human Resources Business Partner experience within an enterprise or corporate environment.
  • Must be able to travel 10% of the time to attend meetings, VP strategy meetings, conferences, etc.
What would be nice for you to have:
  • Professional of Human Resources (PHR) / SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) certification / SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
  • Comfortable working across all levels of the organization, from frontline Associates to senior Executives.
  • Experience working in an HR Business Partner model and collaborating with Centers of Excellence (COEs).
  • Solid knowledge of federal and state employment law.
  • Candidates should have the ability to manage cross-functional projects in a fast-paced corporate environment.
