Who knows where our shared journey will take you? We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for our Building Products business. This role will be remote within the United States.

Position Overview: As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will drive the digital transformation of financial reporting and data governance needed to support operational transparency, business planning, and performance management. This role will focus on improving the quality and robustness of BP analytics while ensuring the completeness of institutional KPI reporting. The role will report into the BP Finance Manager for Planning and Reporting with key integration points across the BP organization.

You will make an impact by: Evaluating current controlling and reporting mechanisms to standardize, automate, and build digital enhancements. Identify new data sources to enhance data analytic capabilities while evaluating current data available. Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly key business performance reporting for senior BP leadership.

Ensuring data quality and governance for BP institutional reporting (ESPRIT Reporting, KBDs, Sales Activity, month-end close). Investigating sales, cost, and margin details in SAP to provide visibility to business, assurance of accuracy, and root cause for result variances. Identifying issues, propose solutions to problems encountered, and understand the financial impacts of proposed solutions by applying problem-solving skills.

Using modern data analytics and business intelligence solutions to create sophisticated presentations and reports through data mining and present them to higher levels. Leading operational improvement opportunities and implement recommended solutions. Demonstrating capabilities to impact the environment and to work successfully with multiple and diverse organizations, including global colleagues.

Taking ownership of assigned work through to completion. Your success is grounded in having these qualifications: Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, IT, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or another related field. Advanced knowledge of MS Office 365, SAP, Hyperion.

Advanced analytic skills and strong orientation to detail, with knowledge and solid experience with data processing and visualization tools (e.g. Qlik Sense, Power BI, Alteryx, Knime, SQL, etc.). Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
