The Opportunity
The Senior Financial Analyst oversees Product Supply expenses and inventory across several Glanbia Performance Nutrition manufacturing sites and warehouses. This permanent position will report to the Operational Finance Manager.
Assist Product Supply Finance team with a focus on labour and overhead costs, raw material and packaging costs, and Co-Manufacturing costs (volumes/costs/yields). Assist Finance Managers with preparing summaries for the Product Supply leadership team to influence and drive informed decisions. Assist in the collection, consolidation and reporting requests for Product Supply Finance activities. Help pull together monthly and ad-hoc financial presentations to the Product Supply and Finance leadership teams. Lead the forecast and budget process for Inventory and Warehouse Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual/ad-hoc financial reports and presentations. Analyse variances at the plant level vs. forecast, budget and prior year; identify and understand drivers of volume, rate and mix. Help keep Product Supply on track to meet financial commitments. Ensure accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations and support audit requests as needed. Proactively look for trends, best practices, and opportunities with the network to drive improvements. Demonstrate willingness to take on changing daily tasks and build scalable modular processes.
The Skills you will bring to the team Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent Minimum of +3 years in relevant experience Leadership skills Microsoft Excel skills SAP experience is a plus. Team player - Will be working with various functional owners at the plants and within Procurement. Analytics - Analyze data and recommend actions to improve.
