ITsavvy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. Responsibilities
Business Performance Evaluation
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of various business units, projects, and initiatives to assess profitability and efficiency.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, cost-saving measures, and revenue enhancement strategies.
- Assist in developing financial models to assess the potential impact of different business scenarios.
Financial Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and dashboards.
- Develop and maintain standardized reporting templates to improve financial visibility and analysis.
- Work closely with accounting teams to reconcile financial data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and support the accounting close process.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.
Financial Strategy and Decision Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and provide financial insights.
- Offer recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Assist in developing long-term financial plans aligned with the company's growth objectives.
Forecasting and Variance Analysis
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying and explaining variances.
- Develop strategies to address potential budget deviations and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Process Improvement
- Continuously assess and enhance financial processes and tools to streamline financial reporting and analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial data accuracy and data integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar financial role, preferably within the IT services industry.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in financial software applications.
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, or CPA are advantageous but not required.
