Senior Finance Analyst - Brands Trading

EG Brands Finance is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Brands Trading team, to understand performance and enable the business to respond to changes in the commercial environment through effective insight and analysis. You will operate as part of a globally distributed team and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

• Provide trading performance updates for the EG B2C brands, explaining performance and identifying underlying drivers
• Monitor performance for key P&L and operational metrics on a daily and weekly basis
• Lead weekly trading performance meetings and influence senior stakeholders with compelling insights and effective presentation of results
• Perform deep dive analyses of key operational metrics to identify root cause of performance issues
• Maintain an in depth understanding of the broader EG and competitive landscape
• Partner with teams across the organisation to understand marketing activities and how they impact performance
• Support evolution of trading tools and processes; working on projects to drive improvements, standardise and automate reporting
• Collaborate across the Finance function to provide trading insights to the FP&A and Brand Performance teams

Who you are:

• 3-5 years of relevant finance or analytical work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
• Excellent communication skills, producing concise and informative presentations to leadership
• Comfortable with ambiguity; ability to work with incomplete data or seemingly open-ended questions and translate into actionable analysis
• Results driven and highly motivated
• Excellent interpersonal skills and evidenced ability to partner with varying levels of management, across a highly-matrixed organization
• High level of intellectual curiosity that drives sense of ownership and desire for continuous improvement
• Strong spreadsheet skills and ability to work with large data sets
• High confidence in learning how to use new analytical tools (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
• SQL skills desirable

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500.00 to $115,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
