Overview:

The Financial Analyst is a critical role at Wyze. An ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models that are strategic to business. You will enjoy a fast-paced environment where you will have chances to influence decisions of the executives, and what you do will have a significant impact on the growth of business. This role requires great attention to detail and the desire to be on a dynamic team within a fast-growing organization.

Responsibilities:

• Own the forecasting and control of all selling costs, fixed costs and payroll costs. Be the finance business partner and work with business owners of these cost centers.
• Perform monthly/quarterly analysis on key drivers of sales, cost and profitability, identify risks and find out room of improvement.
• Establish cost inputs for P&L business owners to report and analyze contribution profit.
• Own the cost forecast accuracy and adapt cost to revenue and gross margin changes
• Participate in annual budget creation and quarterly reforecasting.
• Own the cost reporting and analysis for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
• Be the finance business partner and work with certain P&L business owners.
• Analyze complex financial and operational data to provide insightful recommendations to business.
• Develop planning/forecast models and assist in the development of the long-term plan, annual budget, and forecast.
• Develop reports as part of the financial toolkit to provide improved visibility.
• Build models to perform financial analysis to support business decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or MBA in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related area.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A.
• Analytical thinker and quick learner with demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Experience building and managing Excel models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and decision support.
• Ability of data query and large dataset analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

And Even Better if the Following Applies to You:

• Advanced user of Excel. Experience with Power Query and Power Pivot.
• Experience with Netsuite is highly preferred.
• General knowledge of SQL and experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau).
• CMA / CFA / CPA or similar qualification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $77,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
