SalaryCourse Hero is scaling! We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager. You get to combine leadership, use technical insight, and embrace product design thinking. You'll report to our Engineering Director and lead/mentor a team of software engineers. Working with our product, design, and other engineering leaders, you will help us improve not only efficiency but also engagement.
This is a high transparency and impact role. This is an experimental pod tasked with ideating and experimenting to launch study tools and prove product-market fit. This role requires an eye for business, a focus on customer needs/wants/desires, and expertise in driving urgency to constantly ship and iterate.

- 5+ years leadership or management of a team of software engineers
- Hands-on experience in modern web applications development
- Passion for the best software development practices
- Strong results-oriented drive and desire to achieve big things
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience

The base pay for this position is dependent on multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed below.
