Senior Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician

10Beauty, located in Burlington, MA, is building the definitive Intelligent Beauty company, leveraging robotics and automation to reimagine how people can interact with machines on a service level. We have just closed a further $17M in funding (total funding of $38M), to launch the world’s first full manicure machine next year, having already pre-sold over $13M in annual manicure pod subscriptions to our first launch partners. Our diverse 35-person and growing team is built around individuals with a consistently demonstrated track record of introducing successful new-to-the-world products (75+ new products launched across the team).

What you’ll do:

• Work with mechanical and electronic engineering to assemble, debug, upgrade and repair complex electromechanical robotic assemblies
• Read and interpret assembly drawings 
• Surface mount rework 
• Cable assembly 
• Use light hand and machine tools
• Lab management 
• Day to day upkeep of the lab
• Parts inventory
• Tools inventory

What you have:

• 7+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly work
• MUST have extensive sub-assembly (soldering) and surface mount rework experience
• Strong ability to interpret assembly drawings 
• A willingness to troubleshoot and find solutions

Salary Range

$75,000—$95,000 USD

We have raised funding from Lerer Hippeau, Red Sea Ventures, and Imaginary - the investors behind great consumer companies such as Nest, Warby Parker, Casper, and Allbirds - to build 10Beauty.
