The Embroidery Machine Support Technician is responsible for routine cleaning of our multi head Embroidery Sewing Machines. The Embroidery Machine Support Technician performs all needed cleaning and basic maintenance tasks that will be assigned by the Embroidery Machine Technician and the Department Manager.
Monday thru Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM. OT required if needed based on needs of business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Repair and reshape the metal frames/embroidery hoop & other machine attachments.
- Cleaning & lubrication of Embroidery Machines
- Perform preventive maintenance of embroidery equipment
- Assist with set-up, installation and breakdown of new and old equipment.
- Monitor inventory of replacement parts and request replenishment when needed.
- Maintain daily log of open repair tickets and general maintenance for each machine
- Assist with miscellaneous projects as requested.
- Additional as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Skills/Qualifications
- Ability to follow verbal directions.
- Ability to read instructions in English.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting/problem solving tasks
- Ability to work with tools and machinery.
