Pay: $30.00 an hour

15 month possible contract to hire opportunity

Open to recent grads with degree in engineering

100% onsite in Bedford MA

Your role:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician in MilliporeSigma Process Solutions Viral Safety Research & Development. The individual will work as part of a technical team and apply solid mechanical principles to develop and produce innovative viral clearance products for Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries. This position will be based at our Bedford, Ma campus.

Physical Attributes:

• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds unaided and 25-100 pounds with assistance and/or proper engineering controls.

• Must have a minimum of:

A bachelors degree in engineering/science with industrial experience in a related technical area a plus. Open to recent graduates.

• Ability to follow written procedures and protocols using good laboratory habits.
• The individual must demonstrate hands on technical skills in a lab environment.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate experimental results to team members.
• Individual must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with plastics bonding is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of bioprocessing filtration products, processes and applications would be very helpful.
• Ability to travel to our manufacturing site in Jaffrey NH
