The Opportunity  

The Senior Director – Partnership General Management will lead the successful operationalization and scaling of high-visibility product and commercial partnerships to drive material growth in key strategic business areas for Adobe. You and the team you will build and lead will function as the CEOs of Adobe’s most Strategic Partnerships: Driving the definition of partnership success; setting and managing to ambitious cross-functional goals; celebrating success and holding teams accountable; designing and administering processes and frameworks to ensure successful internal collaboration; and engaging with senior leadership at Adobe’s partners to strengthen our relationships over time and identify new areas in which we might work together. The right person for this role (the “CEO of CEOs”) will be passionate and knowledgeable about the collaboration, creativity, and digital business transformation spaces; have the skill and polish to engage and communicate at an executive level both internally and externally; have an aptitude to proactively and successfully resolve contractual, technical and financial issues with partners and internal stakeholders; lead effectively through influence in a matrixed organization; and be highly strategic yet pragmatic and results- and impact-oriented.

What you’ll do

  • Make Adobe’s most Strategic Partner relationships successful
  • Lead a global Partnership General Management team
  • Provide partner feedback and market intelligence to Adobe's product, engineering, and marketing teams
  • Build, maintain, and evolve strong consultative executive-level relationships with partners

 What you'll need to succeed:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 15+ years of partner development experience in software, cloud and/or Internet

Preferred qualifications:

  • Track record of successfully operationalizing impactful, foundational partnerships
  • Superior ability to present to executives (internal and external) and communicate with sophisticated management teams
  • MBA or JD ideal
  • Familiarity with and regular use of Adobe's products strongly preferred
  • Ability to drive recommendations and build cross-functional consensus with multiple key stakeholders (especially product and engineering)
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Data-driven but creative thinker
  • Strong product sensibilities
  • Collegial, high energy, and resilient personality
  • Ability to thrive under minimal structure and supervision
  • Terrific sense of humor

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $172,000 -- $352,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
